  1. TCR22 is John Paton with Ian Hall. I suspect that was on the handover on the move of TC to Swanwick as I recall John worked the last aircraft there.

    TCR 23 was indeed the lovely lady from the canteen – just before we left West Drayton. She’d never seen the ops room and wondered what we all did so was granted a little visit! Can’t remember her name though.

    1. No it replaced initially the 2 civil TMA sectors at West Drayton and eventually incorporated both the approach and radar units from the four major civil airports and additional civil sectors to control an enlarged airspace, increasing both vertically and laterally. In my time the LJAO seats were on the enroute sectors but I’m only guessing there is some mil role in the enlarged CCF, now at Swanwick. No doubt we’ll get an answer from the wide world out there.

    TCR 5 EGKK APC @ TC. Dennis Wilson nearest, the guy at the far end was on C Watch TC then X Watch Swanwick. Did KK/SS & GW.
