KK1 is this the old Beehive control tower ?
Tom Singfield has sent me the link below that has pages of photos of Gatwick during several eras. Page 1 include the plans for the beehive including the tower and they seem to support the idea the above photo is in the Beehive. Page 5 has some lovely modern photos of the Beehive interior and exterior.

The visual control room has been re-furbished with new furniture and telecommunications facilities. In the foreground are the 9020D computer input and printout facilities.
The new approach room showing the Radar 1, 2 and 3 positions using the new 16 inch CRD 2016 Cossor displays. This new type autonomous display is being used operationally for the first time at Gatwick.

45, 46 and 47 look more Scottish to me. The Approach unit in 45 has a Scottish half-million in the background. Prestwick?

I do believe that is SATCO Critchley-Graham with the moustache and waistcoat! He was a well-respected ballroom dancer. Semi-retired in ’68, he ran the training section between dances.
