a BAe Hawk T1A  operated by 736 Naval Air Squadron of the Royal Navy prior to its disbandment in 2022. This photo shows XX281 when it was one of two display Hawks in 2009 for FLY NAVY 100.  The later 2006 tower.

  1. DY13 has 3 x ‘C ‘ type hangars so is not Yeovilton; I believe it’s Lossiemouth.
    I’m a bit dubious about DY14 too; if they’ve had a new tower built on the south side, fair enough but otherwise I think it might be Chivenor.

  2. I was a visitor here in 1992 for the airshow. I must admit to giving a sailor a bit of grief at the ATC display in one of the hangars. It was over the long running saga of the Fleet Air Arm(and that includes RN ATC) of not using ZULU time!
