At Heston, in 1976, Eric Mathews dictated an 18 page personal history of his time in Civil Aviation and Air Traffic Control in the UK. This just one of several archives Eric created. We will add others later on and we have also added some digitised voice recordings that Eric made.

RAF Flying Control in WW2
from July 1941 Eric served as a Flying Control Officer in the RAF in WW2. Some years ago he serialised his experiences in Transmit. We have scanned them in and combined them and they can be found by clicking on the link below.
Eric was an Instructor at RAF Bridgenorth that for a while hosted the School of Flying Control. Dave Smith has provided these scans of papers and procedures from the School of Flying Control at Watchfield. Eric Mathews served at Watchfield. As they are Foolscap size, Dave has problems scanning them so he has provided part pages and whole pages.
