The birth of air ground R/T

Dave Smith sent me a clipping, an article from 1967 describing the early days of air ground voice radio communications, in the Royal Flying Corps.


By 1918 the Royal Flying Corps had both a Wireless Telephony Establishment at Biggin Hill and  a Wireless Telephony School which was disbanded in 1919 at the RAF Winton aerodrome in Bournemouth.
