the Birdlip Story

Since atchistory went on line , I’ve had the pleasure of receiving valuable and accurate input from Colin McKeeman on a number of occasions . Colin is from the Irish Republic and a dedicated researcher into long range aeronautical radio communications. Colin has now authored what must the definitive work on the radio stations at Birdlip and Winstone. It will appeal to those with an interest in Shanwick’s history, but also to anyone with an interest in the history of radio communications. As a retired ATCO,  and as a radio ham I therefore found it appealing at several levels. I’ve inserted  a photo of the cover and added a release from Colin explaining how you can buy a copy.
