ATS outside regulated airspace – 1977 study

The report below was a detailed review of the Flight Information Service, who provided it and where and what did it cost. It discusses changes to FIS provision and discusses the use of ATSAs rather than ATCOs to provide FIS in some circumstances. The annexes are interesting with some reminders of ATCO and ATSA pay and conditions in the mid-70s.
